We loved the original door handles, gorgeous windows, and vintage light switches, which gave the place personality. The rooms are light, airy, and tastefully decorated — very picturesque. There are plenty of lovely spots to sit and reflect, from the welcoming front porch through the house to the back deck. The location is excellent. Just a short walk south is a supermarket and local shops — the bakery and bookshop were particular highlights. We enjoyed spending quiet afternoons on the back deck with our books, good company, and delicious locally made food. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful, and the amenities far exceeded our expectations. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated the stay.

The house was beautifully presented with lots of charming features. Beds were so comfortable, and the host even left us some fridge and pantry staples on arrival. Close to shops for convenience and Picnic Point for spectacular views and gardens. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Glen Iris is a beautiful old building with every modern convenience. Mick responded promptly to both email & txt queries.

We had a wonderful weekend staying in this beautiful home. The care and attention to details was exceptional. An easy walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants. Secure car space for 2 vehicles and although it’s located on a busy road one would never have known. Private and quite inside.

Beautifully presented and clean. Would love to stay again.
