Sierra Cottage

I’ve always used hotel / motels so I was totally surprised how beautiful and relaxing this little cottage was.

Almost everything I needed was there, I really only needed to pack my toothbrush.

Walking distance to CBD. Surrounded by multiple cafes and parklands.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage.

I would highly recommend staying there.

Exceptional, hardly sums up the accommodation at Sierra Cottage. A beautiful historic cottage that has been lovingly restored with a modern yet appropriate touch of class and appointments. We were absolutely blown away by the whole experience we enjoyed with the accommodation at Sierra Cottage. Everything you could want and more was provided at the accommodation, including fresh bread, milk, butter, condiments, frozen meals, a Nescafé coffee machine (with pods), several varieties of tea, not to mention the packet of Tim Tams in the fridge. The rooms were well appointed with modern yet true to the vintage of the cottage furnishings and decor. Central ducted heating (cooling) was very comfortable and a gas heater in the original fireplace was a nice touch and provided that extra warmth when needed. Plush double beds and two singles in the three spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. The main bedroom was luxurious with plush bed, furnishings and decor, the ensuite was amazing. The use of the internal shutters and privacy glass (where required) to control light and privacy was well thought out. The bathrooms were clean and modern and included everything you could want.

a convenient central location accessible to all parts of Toowoomba. Sierra Cottage made our stay all the more enjoyable and memorable as we attended a wedding at the historic Gabbinbar House. We will definitely be staying at Sierra Cottage again when we return to Toowoomba. Communication from Mick and the team was exemplary with confirming the booking, cost, and providing all the information that we needed. Overall a marvelous experience. Thank you. It is obvious on entry that this accomodation/home is loved. I really appreciate the attention to decor detail and attention to the tenants comfort. A standout for me was the exceptional engagement and communication with the agency and their ”hosting” communication.

Again, this attention to detail told me I was entering well organised accomodation.

Entering the front door you know you won’t be disappointed. Sierra Cottage is pristine comfort. Pantry staples allows you to start your afternoon with Tim Tams and coffee. Morning with fresh coffee, tea, toast and jam or the option of cereal. Everything you need in the bathrooms. Well done Sierra. Thank you for giving us a memorable stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Sierra Cottage. It is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The kitchen is the best equipped in any accommodation we have stayed in (even down to bread/milk/jams as well as Tim Tams).

The communication regarding arrival/entry etc was excellent and very organised.

Warm and cozy. Sierra Cottage met all our needs, and the little touches made it extra special. I was happy to have a television in our room as I suffer with insomnia. My husband and son-in-law appreciated the coffee machine, and my grandchildren loved the games and books, especially “The Tale of Georgie Grub”. I must have read it 5 times. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We stayed at Sierra cottage for 4 nights in June 2023 and had a wonderful time.

Communication with Megan was fast and flawless, even after we had a problem with the airconditioning following a visit from Ergon doing maintenance. A quick text and had an immediate response, with assurance this would be sorted, which it successfully was.

We found the Cottage immaculately presented on arrival and the recent renovation was first class with upmarket furnishings and appliances.

There was everything we needed for a very comfortable stay with some lovely pantry staples supplied as well as some treats .

Undercover off street parking from the rear access lane was little tight but very manageable with an SUV .

There is good security and Easy access with an electronic keypad on the front door.

Queens Park is 2 minutes walk away and down town is an easy 15 minute walk with access to many and varied cafes and restaurants.

We have re-booked another stay for later in the year.

We have stayed in many like places around Australia and Sierra cottage is up there with the best.

I have no hesitation on giving this property the highest score of 10/10.

Sierra Cottage has everything you need for your family holiday. The little touches, such as fresh bread, milk, jams, tea, coffee and butter, are a welcoming bonus. The cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Easy walking distance to Queens Park, cafes, restaurants and shops.

Fabulous accommodation. Conveniently situated, well appointed and beautifully presented.

Immaculate renovated cottage accommodation in a peaceful location, super clean, comfortable and close to Queens Park, good sized bedrooms with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Little details like a packet of tim tams in the fridge make it feel like home. Megan could not have been more helpful and everything was so easily organised. Absolutely nothing to fault.

It was our first time visiting Toowoomba and we stayed in the cottage for a couple of nights. The booking process from beginning to end was flawless and Megan was amazing to deal with and very professional . The cottage is stunning and well looked after and superbly styled and clean.We loved the comfort and it beat staying in any hotel. When we come back to Toowoomba, we definitely won’t be in a hotel ! It had everything we needed, could not fault anything. Look forward to coming back .

We were three girls on a short getaway and the house was absolutely perfect in so many ways. Perfect location, perfect decor, and perfectly clean. Unfortunately the weather was not kind during our stay so we felt very fortunate to have such a lovely space to relax in. Megan was so easy to deal with and left us with bread, milk, jams, teas, coffee etc which is always nice to have the basics on arrival especially fresh milk to make a cuppa when you first arrive. The very clever layout of the house made the compact cottage seem quite spacious and the attention to detail was second to none. Will definitely be our first choice to stay when next travelling to Toowoomba!

Easy booking with Megan, everything we wanted plus more. All the extra touches made our stay so much better, especially the complimentary food, coffee etc…The bedrooms are all lovely & clean with quality linen. The house itself has been perfectly renovated with an awesome extension with cathedral ceilings.

On entering the cottage there is an immediate delight that very few places give. Apart from being immaculate, it is beautifully layered with all the comforts of home. A lovely sympathetic renovation that very much nods to the history of Toowoomba and its region. Being in the interior design industry it is always hard to find a place that that is done well and provokes joy – this space certainly delivers. Well done Megan on a great job. We will be back!

We recently spent 3 nights at Sierra Cottage, and it was lovely! The house was spotless on arrival, very well appointed and great heating. Location is very central, walking distance to Queens Park and coffee shop.

The carport would be a squeeze for large 4WD, but otherwise a perfect little house!

The pictures do not do justice, location impeccable, easy parking (maybe not ideal for super large vehicles), so many thoughtful touches. Cannot say enough, the home had so much character but was impeccably clean. Amazing beds, amazing bedding, great communication, beautiful decor. A lot of love lives in this cottage.
