Hedge House

We loved our stay at Hedge House as the place was so beautiful and tidy. I loved the little extra additions that we got to enjoy, it was very thoughtful! Our whole family was able to stay there and it was also very kid friendly with lots of games and outside area. The communication with the host made everything run smoothly and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Toowoomba.

We are regular visitors to Toowoomba and whenever possible, we stay at Hedge House. The size of the home allows our family to gather for a relaxed time together. The home is exceptionally well appointed and the kitchen has everything we need.

Living areas are comfortable and the outside table was well used during our recent stay.

The hedge out the front provides much appreciated privacy and once the gates are closed it has a safe front yard for little ones to play.

We’ll be back.

Stayed at Hedge House for wedding, hosts were great, left gifts and had very clear instructions. House was beautiful and very nice, felt secluded despite being in a suburban area. Would highly recommend.

Hedge House was the perfect place for our older family group of 4 to stay whilst visiting Toowoomba from NZ. All the creature comforts, and more, were at the ready for us to simply walk in the door and enjoy. We loved the spacious layout of the kitchen, lounge and dining area, with easy indoor outdoor flow. The carefully positioned seating throughout gave you the choice to sit quietly and read in the warmth of the sun, to snuggle up by the gas fire or to enjoy a beverage or two whilst sitting at the kitchen breakfast bar. We were spoilt for choice with the sumptuous bedrooms which have been beautifully appointed and cater for all ages. Hedge House has a welcoming warmth that will ensure repeat visits for everyone.

Hedge House is beautifully furnished and comfortable, the owners have thought of everything to make visitors feel like they are at home.

No need to rush out to the supermarket, which was very welcomed on arrival at the house.

We had an awesome time at Hedge House. The house was very clean, true to it’s description, roomy and very comfortable for a family of 5 adults.

The hosts supplied us with a lot of staples and a few yummy items which we appreciated, especially as we arrived late at night. We loved the pod coffee machine to wake us up in the morning and the bottle of wine at night. Communication was also great.

I would not hesitate to stay at Hedge House again and highly recommend it to others.

How nice to stay fir a week in a well appointed home with a mixture of old ambience and newly renovated kitchen.

The ensuite was excellent with lounge chairs and table to have morning coffee at.

We recently had a one week stay at Hedge House and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. We have previously stayed at other properties managed by Megan. The house was perfect in every way. Plenty of space for the family, chic fittings and furniture throughout the house. Very appreciative of the little things such as a pantry full of food, bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival, board games, reading books. The booking and check in process was seamless. The location was great only a 5 mins to Queens Park, Picnic Point and 10 minutes to Grand Central. Thank you Megan we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay at Hedge House.

We recently had a 4 night stay at Hedge House to attend a wedding and loved our stay.

Firstly, communication with Megan leading up to our stay was excellent…. questions answered promptly and fully.

The house was excellent for our needs – a good size, all on 1 level and presented clean and excellently maintained and well equipped….. a bottle of wine and a few chocolates just added to the welcome.

The front yard is a safe place for children to play. We had our 16 month grandchild with us and once the front gate is closed it is a great space.

We thoroughly recommend Hedge House and we will be back for sure.

We had a family wedding in Toowoomba and Hedge house was in a fantastic location . Two yr old and 4 month old – and five adults . Excellent accomodation, cupboards stocked with food was a bonus – especially flying / driving in late with two little ones . Very clean and very comfortable home . We hope to be back again ! Hedge House is like a luxury home away from home. Exquisitely and tastefully furnished, it is the perfect place for a Toowoomba getaway. Nestled behind a beautifully manicured hedge in a tree-lined street, the property is simply magnificent. From the welcome on the chalkboard, bottle of wine and well-stocked fridge and pantry, Megan has thought of everything! You don’t need to bring a thing. Thank you for a wonderful few days in this gorgeous Toowoomba home, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Megan is a brilliant communicator and I give her my highest recommendation.

Sitting on the velvet lounge in front of the fireplace, sitting out enjoying the morning sun in the Tuscan-inspired courtyard, sleeping in comfortable beds with good linen, and sipping on a wine at the end of the day in good quality wine glasses are just a few memories we will take with us from Hedge House. We will definitely be back for more of this luxury!

We had a very happy Christmas week at Hedge House. It is beautifully appointed and well equipped with all the necessities of home. There were 5 adults in our family group but it would also suit families with small children. I cannot recommend Megan highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Hedge House. It has everything you need on your arrival (plus a lovely walnut and date loaf) and is very spacious and comfortable. Megan was very easy to communicate with and was able to provide us with two portacots for our children. It is also conveniently located close to shops and parks. Highly recommend!

We were a party of 8. 4 adults, 4 kids including teens. We all loved Hedge House. Have stayed in many places -this one had a special touch. We chose it for the spaciousness, comfy features, location and inclusions. Re games, large kitchen, laundry and courtyard. Thank you to Megan for the great communication and hosting so well.

Hedge House was such a positive experience for our party of four. The house is beautifully decorated and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. A particular mention of the date and walnut loaf. Yum! The beds, furniture and chairs are all so comfortable. You can relax in the lounge room with the warmth of the fireplace on a chilly night or soak up some sun in the court yard outside during the day. The kitchen is well stocked with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The house is situated close to Queens park and is an easy walk. Would highly recommend!

Hedge House is our home away from home. Upon arrival there is a handwritten not welcoming us with a freshly baked date and walnut loaf, which was delicious. The home has 5 bedrooms all with very comfortable beds and beautiful bed linen. Communication with Megan is very easy with quick replies. The house is conveniently located near Queens Park and some wonderful cafes.

This is our second stay and we will continue to use Hedge House as our Toowoomba base whenever we are there.

We have stayed in numerous Toowoomba Holiday Rental houses in the last couple of years and each time we declare the house we stay in our new favourite! This house -like all the others- was beautifully set up, nicely furnished and had the special touches (games, books, toys, milk, bread etc) that made our stay so enjoyable. Like every other stay, the house was immaculately clean and stylish yet homey and welcoming. Will always book with Megan for any Toowoomba stay.

The house is amazing we are delighted by the home-made muffins. Thank you so much. The pantry and fridge are the most well-stocked I have ever experienced and we have stayed at lots of Airbnb‘s around the world.
